
Dr. Dwivedi holds a doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical sciences from the Central Drug Research Institute (CDRI) & Integral University Lucknow. His doctoral thesis was on elucidating the role of Nrf2 transcription factors in learning and memory impairment. During his time working with industrial drug discovery & development at Panacea Biotec Ltd (2014-2019) he was responsible for target identification, target product profiling, primary in-vivo and in-vitro Pharmacokinetics-Pharmacodynamics (PK-PD) profiling and Investigational New Drug (IND) enabling studies of New Chemical Entities (NCEs) in therapeutic area of metabolic and neurological disorders. Previously as a Project Manager-Biologicals, he was responsible for Project Management of New Vaccine development, Technology Transfer, Drug Substance and Drug product manufacturing operations and supply chain management in the office of Chief Scientific & Operating officer. He has taught (2008-2010) Anatomy Physiology, Pathophysiology & Pharmacology to undergraduates’ at K.N.I.M.T. faculty of pharmacy, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh India. His overall expertise includes animal behavioral studies & molecular studies, as well as animal model of diabetes and neurological disorder such as dementia (memory impairment). He joined The Kumar Lab in May 2021, and he will contribute to preclinical testing of novel dosage forms in immuno-inflammatory disease models.
